Dr Catherine Parker, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Lead for development of Maternal Mental Health

Catherine completed her training as a Clinical Psychologist at Lancaster University in 2010 and has worked in health psychology settings since qualifying. She has worked with people with a wide range of psychological difficulties relating to their physical health, including with women, birthing people and partners in maternity, obstetric and gynaecological services. Catherine has a particular interest in psychological trauma, including the use of evidence based therapies to treat trauma and developing trauma-informed systems. She believes that staff health and wellbeing should be at the core of our services.
